About this guide
Who we are and how this guide checks Springbok's terms
Terms Decoded is an independent website that reads Springbok Casino's published terms and conditions and rewrites them in plain English, one clause per page. It is not Springbok Casino, it is not run by Springbok, and it has no way to see, change or pay out a player account.
One job: the rules beneath the bonus
Most pages about a casino lead with the headline number. This one starts from the clauses underneath it: how much has to be wagered, which bets break the rules, how much of a win can actually be withdrawn and in what order. The site exists so a reader can answer those questions before claiming anything, and so other guides can point here instead of paraphrasing the same clauses badly.
That focus keeps the site small. There are seven clause pages, a glossary and this handful of pages about how the guide works. Each clause page carries the version of Springbok's T&Cs it was checked against, currently version 1.6.
How a clause gets onto this site
Read the primary page
Bonus and withdrawal rules come from Springbok's terms page and the PDF of the same version. Offer details come from the promotions page, cash-out procedure from the withdrawal authorisation page, and game lists from the logged-out lobby.
Record the address and the date
Every figure is stored in a facts register with the URL it came from and the day it was read. Pages pull figures from that register, so a change is made once and shows everywhere.
Label what kind of statement it is
A rule printed in the T&Cs is not the same as a line in a Springbok blog post, and the difference matters. Each fact carries one of the labels in the table below.
Rewrite it and work an example
The clause is summarised, put into plain English and run through a worked example in rand. Example amounts are marked as examples; multipliers and caps always come from the register.
Re-read when the version moves
When Springbok publishes a new version number, every clause page is checked against it and its "last checked" date updated.
| Label | What it means |
|---|---|
| Verified | Stated on Springbok's own T&Cs, promotions, banking or withdrawal pages, or seen in the live lobby on the date shown. |
| Springbok says | Stated only in Springbok's marketing copy, such as articles and press releases. Reported as Springbok's claim, not as our finding. |
| Pages disagree | Two of Springbok's own pages give different answers. Both are shown, with the one the current T&Cs support named. |
| Not verified | Could not be confirmed from a Springbok page. Left out of rule summaries. |
What this guide will not do
- Give Springbok, an offer or a game a rating, score or star count.
- Say anyone here deposited, played, won or cashed out to test an offer.
- Quote jackpot amounts, winner feeds or player numbers.
- Invent reviewers, testimonials or quotes from players.
- Promise that a bonus will pay out, or describe gambling as a way to earn money.
- Show an expired code as if it still works.
If a clause works against players, such as winnings being voided for a single oversized bet, it is reported as plainly as a clause that helps them.
Who writes it, and how to correct it
The guide is written and edited as one publication rather than under individual bylines, so the site itself is the author. If you spot a clause that has changed, a figure that no longer matches Springbok's pages or a sentence that reads ambiguously, write to hello@springbokcasino.info with the page address and what you saw. Corrections are checked against the source first and, if confirmed, the page and its date are updated.
This address cannot help with a Springbok account, a deposit or a withdrawal. For those, contact Springbok's own support by live chat or at help@springbokcasino.co.za.
