Q: When does a Springbok account become dormant?

The T Cs give two periods: 12 months without activity in one clause and 6 consecutive months without a login in another. Under either, the balance may be voided.

Where Springbok uses two words for one idea, both appear. Figures are the defaults on our last read; an offer can set its own.

A

Account verification: The document check before a first withdrawal: both sides of a government-issued photo ID, proof of address no older than 90 days, and a photo holding the ID if you used crypto. Clause 05: Withdrawal and bonus rules

B

Birthday bonus: Free credit with no published amount, which Springbok's own blog calls not a given. If one arrives, redeem it within one month of the birth date. Clause 06: Free bonus limits
Bonus amount limits: The default bonus range for a deposit coupon: R20 to R100, unless the offer says otherwise. Named offers such as the welcome codes set larger figures of their own.
Bonus countries: Where players may redeem bonuses: South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland, Lesotho and Mozambique, as the T&Cs spell them.
Busted deposit: A deposit played down until the balance is R0–R10. Busted deposits made without a bonus qualify for 25% cashback.

C

Cash-out cap: The most a bonus can release, whatever the balance shows: 5x the bonus for free money, 5x the spins' value for free spins, 15x the deposit for matches above 100%. Also called maximum cashout. Clause 03: Max cashout caps
Cashback: 25% of busted no-bonus deposits from the last 90 days, up to R3,000, claimed through support. It carries a 10x playthrough on slots, keno, bingo and scratch cards.
Comp points: Loyalty points: 1 comp point per R10 wagered, and 100 points = R1, converted in the cashier's Redeem Comps section. Springbok says they do not expire.
Compensation bonus: Credit given as compensation. The T&Cs class it as free money, capped at 5x its value. Clause 06: Free bonus limits
Coupon: Springbok's word for a bonus code. Coupons go in before you deposit and cannot be credited retroactively.

Deposit bonus: A bonus set as a percentage of a deposit, such as 100% up to R1,500 on the first. By default it is wagered 30x the deposit plus the bonus. Also called a match bonus. Clause 01: Wagering requirements
Deposit limit: A ceiling on what you can pay in. Springbok offers daily or monthly deposit limits through its support team. Responsible play
Deposit playthrough: The rule that every deposit is staked at least once before a withdrawal request is accepted. A deposit coupon replaces it with the bonus requirement. Clause 05: Withdrawal and bonus rules
Dispute window: A dispute about a game result or account activity goes to support in writing within one hour; a formal complaint can follow within 6 months.
Dormant account: An idle account. One clause says 12 months without activity, another 6 consecutive months without a login; under both the balance may be voided. Before a long break, withdraw what you want to keep.

Excluded games: Games missing from the list that counts; Springbok's articles name roulette, blackjack, other table games and video poker. A bet on one before the wagering is done can void the bonus and winnings. Clause 04: Games that count

Free bonus: The T&Cs' other name for free money. See free money
Free chip: Everyday name for a no-deposit bonus, such as R250 on TEST-SPRINGBOK. See no-deposit bonus
Free money: Anything credited without a deposit: no-deposit coupons, loyalty, VIP, birthday and compensation bonuses, and tournament prizes. Capped at 5x its value. Clause 06: Free bonus limits
Free spins: Spins on one named slot, staked by the casino. Winnings are wagered 60x the spins' starting value and capped at 5x that value. Clause 07: Free spins terms

Game of the Month: A featured slot each month with inbox coupons and double comp points, Springbok says. The coupons go to players' inboxes rather than the promotions page.
Games that count: Games whose bets reduce a bonus requirement: all slots and keno, plus listed games not in the lobby (bingo, scratch cards, 7 Stud Poker, European Slot Poker and Pai Gow Poker). Clause 04: Games that count

Inactive account: The second idle-account clause: no login for 6 consecutive months. See dormant account

Lobby Jackpot: An opt-in side jackpot costing R0.08 on every slot spin. Free bonuses cannot contribute to it.

M

Max bet: The largest single bet while any bonus is active: R100. Winnings from a bigger bet are voided. Clause 02: Max bet rule

No-deposit bonus: A bonus credited without a deposit: R250 on TEST-SPRINGBOK, wagered 60x, capped at R1,250, redeemable within one month of receipt. Clause 06: Free bonus limits

P

Pending withdrawal: A request not yet processed. Processing starts 48 hours after it, Monday to Friday, and no bonus is credited meanwhile. Clause 05: Withdrawal and bonus rules
Playthrough: Another word for the wagering requirement: the total you must stake before bonus money can be withdrawn. Clause 01: Wagering requirements

R

Redeem Coupon: The cashier section where codes are entered. A code typed in after the deposit is not applied.
Restricted countries: Places Springbok does not accept play from: Australia, Belgium, Netherlands or Netherlands Antilles.

Self-exclusion: A break from your account for a period you choose (minimum one month), arranged through support. Responsible play
